This project was created as a two-person collaboration for the 2025 Seoul Metro YouTube Video Contest, titled “Connecting Every Corner of Seoul.”
We worked together on filming and editing, while I was fully responsible for all motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects.
The video begins with a blank white canvas, where I hand-draw subway lines as if sketching a metro map.
The camera follows the lines as they expand and connect, revealing stations and growing networks that gradually fill the space.
In the final sequence, the lines form the word “Gu-seok Gu-seok” (Every Nook & Cranny) — symbolizing how Seoul’s subway connects every part of the city.
Through this project, I explored how graphic design and motion can visualize connection, rhythm, and the identity of urban movement.
